Brushwood center at Ryerson Woods hosted its 36th Annual Smith Nature Symposium & Benefit on June 1 beginning with a VIP reception at the home of Bill Kurtis and Donna LaPietra. The Symposium celebrates nature, the arts, and individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the science of conservation and understandings of the natural world. The event honored esteemed environmental leaders and photographers, Amory Lovins and Judy Hill Lovins. More than 200 people gathered to honor the Lovinses and support the Brushwood Center. brushwoodcenter.org
